doublet

ブランド名の「doublet」はルイス・キャロルの言葉遊び「ダブレット」に由来。言葉を変化させるように、ベーシックでスタンダードなアイテムの一部分を、唐突な別のアイデアに置き換えてゆき、見慣れているものを「違和感のある日常着」に変化させることがコンセプト。

The brand name “doublet” comes from a word game “doublet”, invented by Lewis Carrol.
That brand concept is to transfigure unremarkable thing into “daily wear with strangeness” by replacing a part of basic and standard items with another unexpected idea, as it is just like the word game.

井野将之
1979年群馬県生まれ。東京モード学園卒業後 、企業デザイナーとして経験を積み、その後「ミハラヤスヒロ(MIHARAYASUHIRO)」で靴・アクセサリーの企画生産を務める。その後、パタンナー村上高士とともに、「doublet」を立ち上げ、2013 S/S展示会よりデビュー。
Masayuki Ino
Born in 1979 at Gunma prefecture. After he graduated from Tokyo Mode Gakuen, he started his career as a corporate designer. Afterwards, he worked at “MIHAYAYASUHIRO” and was responsible for planning and producing shoes/accessories products. Lately, he launched “doublet” together with pattern maker Takashi Murakami and made his debut at 2013 S/S exhibition.
