ブランド名の sulvam はラテン語での「即興演奏」に由来する。
服作りは音楽を奏でるように携わる全ての人々がいなければ成立しない
という考えのもと生み出されるのが sulvam の服達。
毎シーズン、デザイナーのイメージが、素材、パターンメイキング、カッティングを主軸のもとデザインされる。着る人それぞれが主役であり、服はあくまでも服。
着る人に寄り添える服を。
Sulvam is crafted to reflect the times much like an improv jam session in music.
The designer himself designs and creates each and every item in the collection, starting with pattern making; it's a design process where fabrics, patterns and cuts are given the highest priority.
Every heartbeat, emotion and thought of the designer is what forms the art of the brand.

「sulvam」が「by R」へ参加することを記念し、今年オープンするパリ旗艦店とのダブルネームタグをあしらったシャツや、LA発祥のスタッズベルトブランド「HTC」とコラボしたベルトとウォレットチェーンなど、全4型の限定商品を「Rakuten Fashion」にて販売します。

"by R" Exclusive Items
To commemorate Sulvam’s participation in "by R", a total of four limited-edition items will be available on the Rakuten Fashion online shopping site. These include a shirt with double name tag featuring Sulvam’s flagship store, which opens in Paris this year, and a belt and wallet chain made in collaboration with LA-based studded belt brand HTC.

With an emphasis on alluring masculinity while harnessing the pattern making skills acquired under Yohji Yamamoto, Teppei’s style of tailoring reinterprets in a strongly contemporary key and places the focus on extremely high quality fabrics and innovative silhouettes.
2014: Winner of the TOKYO FASHION AWARD 2015
2015: First participation in Paris Fashion Week
2017: Selected as a guest designer at the 91st Pitti Immagine Uomo
2017: Shortlisted for the LVMH Young Fashion Designers Prize 2017

Rakuten Fashion Week TOKYO is a fashion festival held twice a year. Out of the world’s fashion weeks, those held in Paris, Milan, London, New York, and Tokyo are regarded as the most prominent and are referred to as the "Big Five." The trends for next season are born from the latest collections unveiled at fashion shows and exhibitions. This season will again see Japan's latest creations showcased to the world at Shibuya Hikarie and Omotesando Hills, as well as other locations in Tokyo.
